Frequently Asked Questions

I’m unhappy about my experience in a recent appointment round. How can I make a complaint?

The first step is to give the relevant Scottish Government directorate the opportunity to respond to your concerns. If you are not satisfied with their response you can then ask the Commissioner to investigate. The Commissioner will only investigate a complaint if the appointment was made a maximum of one year previously. Further information on the investigation of complaints can be found in the How to complain section of this website.
